2008 Treasure Coast Flats Circuit News 6/15/08
Next tournament in the series is the Indian River County Sheriff's Office "Gifts of Generosity" inshore tournament at Riverside Cafe in Vero Beach on July 25/26. The forum is Trout & Redfish only with some "HUGE PRIZE PAYOUTS" for instance, 7-day stays in Cudjoe Key for the 1st place winners and the slam winner!
Registration starts @ 5:00pm until 7:00pm, with a MANDATORY Capt. Meeting happening shortly after everyone is registered.

Hog Point
Found a small school of Reds (20 maybe 25 fish) the two I caught were just under 27". Look for them in the mud bay, right at 12"of water, most of them were in the center of the bay. The closest fish to the mangroves were about 15' out.
Big snook were on the eastern shore between Hog Point and Snag harbor. These are big fish and the are cruising the shore. Lost 1 Snook off of a dock.
Trout were small 10 to 12".
