2008 Treasure Coast Flats Circuit News 5/13/08
Next one up is the Taylor Creek Marina inshore tournament in Ft. Pierce on May 30/31. This is your last chance until September to accumulate Snook points in the circuit, with the Ft. Pierce area being a great fishery for the Snook.
Registration starts @ 5:00pm until 6:30pm, with a MANDATORY Capt. Meeting happening shortly after everyone is registered.
All TCF Circuit members and non circuit anglers that fish in circuit events, please take note of rule changes that were made due to several issues that had been brought to our attention after the last two tournaments.

| Help wanted for tagging reef snook |
Scripps Newspaper writer Ed Killer published an interesting story on April 13th, 2008 that I read in the Press Journal that had to do with help wanted in the efforts to tag reef snook.
Efforts in this quest may help change some of the minds of the Florida Wildlife Research Institute (FWRI) and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FFWCC) and their ridiculous "28 to 32" inch harvest rule for snook.

Stealth and approach is one of the most important factors to fishing the river, and we'll get you in sync. Also, live bait and lure techniques, and all of the other "beans"...
